Recently, Mushiny 's first-phase smart logistics project with Silicon2, a Korean cross-border cosmetics platform, has officially been put into operation. More than 100 Mushiny Intelligence logistics robots have been deployed, utilizing the Mushiny "Synall" software system to empower Silicon2 with efficient daily order processing for both B2B and B2C models.
Silicon2, established in 2002, is one of the largest cross-border e-commerce platforms in Korea, offering both B2B and B2C services. The platform distributes products to approximately 96 countries, including North America, Japan, Russia, Southeast Asia, and Europe, serving 1,100 companies and one million member customers with cosmetics products.
The Mushiny smart logistics center for Silicon2 is located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, Korea, covering an area of 4,000 square meters. From the confirmation of the project plan, it took only one month to go live.
Before the project, Silicon2's warehouse management relied entirely on manual processes, with no complete internal operation system, location management, or efficiency statistics. The deployment of Mushiny's first-phase smart logistics project not only automated warehouse transportation but also helped Silicon2 achieve full-process management of inbound and outbound operations, efficiency monitoring, and workforce control. Mushiny tailored specific workflows based on Silicon2's B2B and B2C models, increasing overall efficiency by 2.5 times compared to the previous operation, with operational stability reaching 99%, far exceeding client expectations.
Silicon2's management stated, "Through the robotic logistics center, we have achieved highly accurate sorting and improved inventory management efficiency. We can now shift our focus from warehouse management to enhancing customer satisfaction. The speed of order fulfillment and delivery has improved, aligning with our comprehensive global service system and supporting our continued business expansion."
In Korean, "1004" means "angel." Mushiny surprised the client by customizing vehicle number 1004 in angelic white.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Silicon2’s sales exceeded expectations by more than double. However, with the support of the robotic solution, order picking time was shortened, and shipping speed was accelerated. After system integration, the warehouse was fully operational after just one week of stock ramp-up.
It is worth mentioning that after two to three projects of close collaboration, the Silicon2 project marked the first time that Mushinye’s Chinese team only sent a project manager, while all other tasks were completed remotely by the Korean local team, marking a significant step forward in localization efforts.
The successful implementation of this project lays the foundation for the intelligent upgrades of more overseas operational centers for Silicon2. This is not only Mushiny 's first cross-border cosmetics operational center project in Korea but also the country’s first smart operational center for cross-border cosmetics.
